In the fashion calendar, these are the right weeks. Those in which, whether you are a student or not, the atmosphere you breathe is the one that translates into a unique formula: back to school. There are those who experience it as a New Year for the wardrobe, others as a revival operation, where the complete mood is the real protagonist. But we have to start somewhere.

Let's start from the feet: moccasins stand out in great vogue. Classic or revisited, but starting from the basic model, a little à la garçonne: they are worn with transparent socks as well as with terry socks, with a classic sole or an oversized one, which is the most popular during this season. No heel but not even close to the ground. The appeal, clearly, is collegial, which goes with jeans, or straight trousers that cannot be straighter.

Or with the knee-length skirt, but without exceeding in the total look, because we are not on the set of Anne of Green Gables. A few concessions to fashion: moccasin + fluorescent sock, moccasins + rafia bag for another month, moccasins + glasses in acetate, which is always a little “top of the class”, or first in terms of class.

Later, with the first cold weather, thicker socks, knee-length velvet trousers in more autumnal colors and trench coats. You cannot miss the postman model bag or the briefcase, which we haven't seen for a while. Not necessarily in the same leather.

Another must-have is the white shirt, rigorously highly ironed, in contrast with the crumpled linens that have raged the summer posts, which comes in or out of the straight trousers and lets you glimpse necklaces with pendants, cache with a Scottish motif (God save the King) or paired with socks, even in the most daring colors, all matched by a rigorous and possibly starched collar.
