Ca’Tullio and Sdricca di Manzano is based in Aquileia, a territory with a thousend year long vine-growing and wine-making experience.
In 1994 the business bought a stately building, dating back to the last century, to its original splendor. The building was once used to dry tobacco and grow rootstocks and was therefore perfectly adapted to be used as the winery’s headquarters.
A “Taberna Romana” has been recreated inside this winery, where guests, steeped in a suggestive atmosphere, may taste the wines we produce. Two 40-hectare vineyards, one in the Doc Friuli Aquileia area, and another in Sdricca, in the Manzano area, in Colli Orientali del Friuli. The grapes are vinified in Aquileia with the most advanced techniques, yet respecting traditions and characteristics of their original areas. Ca’Tullio is one of the fewest examples of industrial archeology of Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
