It has begun in France, and it has arrived also in the most isolated outskirts of our Country. No matter where you are going to spend your Summer, the trend which requires all white, from clothes to flatware, is all the rage everywhere. And if we think about it, it is the perfect trick to guarantee a general level of elegance both for the ones who dress low-cost, and for the ones who decide to choose the most well-known brands in the fashion world.
The most beautiful White Party I have ever been to was along the Champs Élysées in Paris, where in the space of a few hours, for more than a kilometer, thanks to a word of mouth which involved a thousand people, it was set up such a wonderful table among laces, linen, vintage yarn, design textiles, everything rigorously white. Even the outfits of the commensals, as well as the cheese, the rice, the pastries and the desserts were completely white.
If you receive a White Party invitation, you can breathe a sigh of relief. For him, there is the chance to dress a perfectly ironed shirt, or an inevitably creased shirt, while for her there is plenty of choice, among dresses, pinafore dresses, night slips, and the only trouble will be only to solve the eternal dilemma: shiny or matte? I would say that such a trouble is enough.
White colour is democratic, easy to match both to suntan and to paleness, but when the outfit is completely white, the most important role is played by accessories.
The note of colour could be a pocket square, a small size pochette, the socks for him, and the shoes for her.
I would avoid sandals, slippers or white shoes in general, as well as visor hats. White means democracy, but the “ice cream man effect” is always lurking!
