Glamorous Autumn: tips for a tailor-made season.

Although grandparents and meteorologists struggle to argue that there are no more mid-seasons, I find that autumn, together with spring, is one of the best seasons. At least as far as creativity in the wardrobe is concerned. Unpredictability is the key word of this season, which one day winks at the warmest and sunniest days, and the next day becomes a gray and rainy appetizer of the coldest winter.

And when it comes to fashion and must-haves, there is everything but worry. “Unpredictable” means dressing in layers to be added or subtracted at any time but also combining opposites, antipodes or contrasts.

A good excuse to brush up or perhaps treat yourself to a great classic and in the same way invest in the accessory or the color of the season without feeling the need to rely on the total look, wondering only: what woman am I?

Below here, there are some inspirational styles to be managed with unpredictability.

If you feel formal, the base will be sober in the colors, attentive to the shapes and loyal to the most rigid dress code: from navy blue to camel for outerwear to cigarette trousers as a first purchase. And if you already have it, play down with a very color sock to be exposed under the sneaker or moccasin, with a gypsy scarf or in brocade fabric.

If you are a sporty type even away from gyms and tennis courts and it is too early for the ski slopes and too late for swimming in the sea, it does not mean that you have lost the game of elegance: soft sweaters and comfortable shoes find the balance with monochromatic skirts and straight trousers or with rigorous blazers, comfortable and with large pockets. The make-up is inexistent, the hair always in order, the skin flawless.

If your playlist contains the soundtracks of romantic films set in autumn, the wardrobe will focus on soft tones, soft fabrics, floral patterns (even when the leaves fall) lace in the details with ballet flats during the day and heels in the evening.

Finally, for those who think that fall is rock, it is time to invest in a pair of biker boots: they fit with tight jeans but also with autumnal fabrics par excellence: from moleskin to prince of Wales. Above all, the leather jacket.
