Saint Valentine’s Day is over: but the feast of the shopping lovers is every day!
Let’s be clear: if you affirm that you hate Saint Valentine’s Day, you don’t know what you are missing. Saint Valentine’s Day is just one day in a whole year, reasons to love and to be loved are other 363. So, Saint Valentine’s Day is over and, if you want, in the kitchiest night of the year you can declare the world the reason why you are feeling envy rather than enjoying it.
If you are single by choice, for an excess of selection or for reasons beyond your control; if you have been together for a lifetime or for just one day, if your soul mate is close or far, if you stay in touch or not, in any case just take the opportunity to celebrate a day in which the watchword is cuddling or cuddling yourself. There are two main currents: the chocolate one and the seduction one. You can’t escape from them, especially because the subchapters to open would be endless.
The chocolate is full of substances which satisfy, comfort, cuddle, cheer up, warm up: for the ones who are capable of preparing and wrapping a cake, it is better to start working; for the others, let’s begin the research: there is the chocolate with chilli flavor, the chocolate with orange peel, the chocolate shaped with the love icons and the basic chocolate: we know that for every event there is an ingredient, and this cannot be underestimated.
Then there is the seduction current, that for me at first is always concerned with what you see: leave the red underwear for the New Year’s Eve, but don’t miss the occasion to wear that dress (both for men and women) that you have always wanted to put on, but you didn’t know when. It doesn’t matter if you are going to celebrate at home…who said that at home you only have to wear pajamas and slippers? How many times do we pass a shop window, fascinated by an outfit, but we don’t know if we are going to wear it and when? Maybe this is the right day!
I am convinced that in our homes, among flowers and candles, it is possible to satisfy our ambitions, it doesn’t matter if they are good or not, what the others would think, if they are too much or not enough. Therefore, if the countdown has already started and you have plans, just remind that the image is really important and Saint Valentine’s Day bon ton warns you only about exaggerations: if red is inevitable and iconic, choose the right location for it, if you want to shine bright don’t choose a trattoria, if you decide to make a long term promise, choose a location with dim lights. Remember that is always the mix and not the single object which makes the difference: the right dress, the right location, the right menu. That’s your choice.
The etiquette intervenes at the moment in which the dresses become unnecessary: if passion arrives straight to the point, don’t stop for folding dresses and shirts, you can fix them later (maybe the day after), leave them where they are, just don’t remain in boxer shorts or underpants for him and in bras and stocking for her. Also the art of taking off the clothes is such an important booster to keep the spirits high. And, remember…: cheers!
